Nissa woke me up this morning to the sweet singing of 'it's mother's day! it's your day!' She motioned me to follow her downstairs where my mother's day gift has been awaiting my attention for the past several days.
She has been perfecting her heart drawing....both our favorite shape. Before I could open the gift she had to show me her artistry....
and the beautiful gift inside.....
Love this! I am so blessed to have two beautiful children. Nissa is such a tenderhearted girl and Boden is the sweetest little boy. How lucky I am to be their mother.
The rest of the weekend was spent outside enjoying each other and the wonderful weather. There was lots of me lying on a blanket watching the kids get messy....
It was a great weekend. Hope all you mother's had a great day....it truly is the hardest job....but definitely the most rewarding.
