How does it look? This recovering project consisted of about 2 yards of Amy Butler Sunbloom Home Dec Fabric from Reprodepot, plenty of bent quilting pins, bleeding fingers and cursing, many upholstery tacks which I've never used before and lots of cording which I find fun to make. Look back here to see the before picture. This is my first actual chair covering project. Awhile back I was going to make a slipcover for my old couch but always heard horror stories so thought this might ease my way into it. I mean how hard can it be covering a square chair. Well, it's not a sewing project I enjoy but I do think the results are joyful! This chair currently sits in my new sewing room which I'll share pictures with you all soon. I had painted the room in the cool green shade called Flower Bucket from the Martha Stewart paint selections at Lowes. It is such a happy color and I love it!!!! It is not minty green like it appears here in the pics. It really has a flower bucket appeal to it.
